Question

What if I paid for train tickets and parking in IL for 2019, can those amounts help with a standard single filing?

No, not at all.  Job-related expenses are not deductible on a federal return, and the costs of commuting to and from work have never been deductible.   Sorry--it is expensive to park in Chicago, right?
