I am trying to submit my Federal and State (NC) taxes for 2021 and I keep getting an error saying "Tax Year 2021  transmissions are not available." What should I do to resolve this issue. I tried using other browsers and clearing cookies.

I am having the same problem and get the same error.  I have made sure that TurboTax is up to date.  I have even removed the NC state return and completed it again.  I still cannot efile or print the NC state return.  Federal went without any problem.

I did phone TurboTax and she said "I don't know what you can do."  Go figure!  Even though they already collected my $20 efile money!

I am having the same issue. Unable to remove my NC State return because it keeps starting over.

A number of people received an email notice that the NC forms were ready for filing.

Unfortunately, that email was VERY poorly worded.

It should have made it clear that what was ready, was JUST the forms for printing and mail filing.   E-filing those NC forms is still not ready, and scheduled to be ready for E-Filing, on/after 24 Feb.

E-filing after 24 Feb would still be likely to get processed sooner.

That might be true that the TurboTax message was poorly worded.  But.... I AM STILL UNABLE TO PRINT MY NC TAX FORMS.  I leave on a 6 week roadtrip tomorrow.  Today (Saturday 2/12/22) I will spend a great amount of time today finding NC tax forms, filling them out and mailing them.  Then I will spend time to dispute the $20 charge when I get back in April.

You seem to think that waiting to e-file until February 24 is acceptable.  I don't need to e-file.  I just need to file my taxes before I leave.
