Whatif State Tax

I want to try "what-if" scenarios on my 2022 taxes for a different state. How can I do that without paying for another state?

    Using desktop software?  What if for other states is not an option.  You need the download for the state, and it will not just be given to you.    But you could just go to the state's tax websites and try out preparing state returns on their sites.

    Yea, I figured there would be no easy or cheap way to do that.
