Whe will Nebraska tax update for Turbotax 2023 be available.
When will the Nebraska 2023 tax solution for Turbotax 2023 be issued? It currently (1/20/24) does not accurately reflect current Nebraska tax law (LB754), particularly regarding deduction for social security income. For 2023 the Nebraska deduction for Social Security income should reflect 60% of Social Security income included in Federal tax. As of this date the Turbotax solution still shows the calculation based on 40% which was effective for Tax Year 2022.
