When will my taxes due be paid?

Using TurboTax, I scheduled for my taxes to be paid by bank account. The day passed before the state accepted my return, and now, my taxes are unpaid.

It has been a week since my return was accepted, and I plan on waiting until the middle of the month just to be sure, but in the event that it does not automatically make a payment, is there a way to reschedule the date, or do I have to contact my state's Department of Treasury?

Funds are usually withdrawn on the payment date you select. However, during the busier season, there can be delays. If that date happens to fall on a weekend, the funds are typically withdrawn the next business day. If you still don't see the debit in your bank account 7–10 days after your return has been accepted contact your state Department of Revenue.
