Question

Where are state income tax credits entered into the system.

I have a tax credit for a qualifying charitable contribution for the state of Missouri, but I can’t find where I would enter the information to claim that credit. Do I need to just file that separately with the state?

I assume that you are referring to these credits. 

 

If so, then go to the Missouri state interview and look for this screen:

 

 

Click on YES, and the next screen(s) will show you how to enter the information for your credits.
