Where does my total income come from

To see the income sources and total income calculations according to your entries into TurboTax, look at your form 1040 lines 1-9.  In desktop (CD/Download) products use the the forms mode to see your form 1040.  In online products follow these steps:

1. Select "Tax Tools" in the left hand menu
2. Select "Tools"
3. Select "View Tax Summary"
4. Select "Preview My 1040" in the left hand menu

If the results are not what you expect, you can see where a correction might be warranted in those income lines and return to the applicable topic in the federal "Wages & Income" section.
