How do I do this? The state return says printed and I can not find anywhere to change this to e-file.  My federal return has been accepted.

The reply I received when trying to e-file my Ohio state return was "you will need to print and mail in your state tax return"

Ohio returns are going through today.   Please attempt to efile your Ohio return again.

When you file federal and state separately and your federal return is in pending status, the state return will not transmit until the federal is in accepted status.

@Brat4500

Some state's forms are not eligible to be e-filed until the end of the month...depends on what state is involved..

Come back ~ 1 Feb and go thru the state section again and attempt the e-file then.
