Question

Why does Minnesota say I made $28k in taxable income when my tax return clearly states that I only made $3400? I am very confused because they say I owe them tax I don’t.

The $28K amount did not come out of thin air.  you may need to contact Tax Support phone because they have the ability to look at your return and discover the discrepancy.
