Your wage allocation may show up twice on the wage allocation page because you have a W-2 with two different state lines for state wages and/or withholding. That’s because not all states tax income the same way.
Remove the wage that doesn’t apply to the state return you are working on.
For example, if you are working on Pennsylvania taxes and you have New York and Pennsylvania wages, remove New York.

Return to your w2. Your resident state automatically taxes all state wages. Remove the excess from your w2 entry. The federal and states have the actual copies, the entries you make are for the program to move the money to the right places.
