Why does review of NY return say "return claims a Solar and Wind energy credit carryover" when there is none on the return?

    Take a look at this thread from last year and see if it helps. Please ignore the confusion about Arizona.

     

    This is not a great workaround, but in essence, you enter dummy data into the screens for the solar and wind energy credit, and then delete the form just before you file your return.

     

    For New York, the form you are looking to delete is IT-255.
