Why does TurboTax keep emailing me about completing my state taxes? I live in Tennessee and it is not an option. I have completed my federal taxes.

Tennessee does not have a tax on Wages, as you know.

But Tennessee does have a flat tax on interest and dividends over a certain amount, and the state calls this an "income" tax return (see below).

Perhaps this is what the TurboTax email is referring to.

In any case, if you do not have to file the Hall Income Tax Return for Tennessee, then please ignore the emails.
