Question

Why is a consent to e-file for Virginia popping up when I don't even live or earn money in that state for all of 2019?

You need to make sure you don't have a VA return hiding somewhere. Follow these steps:

  1. Open or continue your return in TurboTax.
  2. Locate Tax Tools 
  3. Select Tools
  4. See the pop-up window Tool Center
  5. Choose Delete a form
  6. Select Delete next to the form/schedule/worksheet in the list
  7. Follow the instructions
**Say "Thanks" by clicking the thumb icon in a post**Mark the post that answers your question by clicking on "Mark as Best Answer"
