Why is my CA 540 standard deduction incorrectly shown?

I reviewed forms before submitting, and my state form (CA 540) incorrectly shows the Federal standard deduction amount for state standard deduction (which should be $5540 for a Single filer). This also appeared in Schedule CA (540). I removed my State form and started over, but still get the same result (higher tax due).
