Why is the state selectoin box NOT show Tennessee and Texas?

I am trying to enter the states where I earned an income, but only states Tennessee and Texas are missing from the selection box for me to choose. Why is that??? Has any body else run into something like this?

Neither TN nor TX has a state income tax, so those states will not appear in some drop-down menus.  What are you trying to enter---where?    If you are trying to enter a W-2, leave boxes 15, 16 and 17 blank for those states.
