Why is TT doubling my CA state refund amount? I put in 411 and refund summary is showing 822?

It is hard to say without knowing more information. However, if the refund is exactly twice what it should be, it mostly likely would be something you entered twice. I suggest you look at your W-2 entry and the amount you entered for box 17, which is your state tax withheld. Make sure you didn't enter that amount twice. Sometimes you will get two W-2 forms from the same employer so you need to be sure you don't enter the same information twice.
