Why my state has to be mailed in?

I just did my taxes and I am unable to efile my state taxes I have to mail the firms in for New York State? Help

Down the left side of the screen, have you clicked File?

Were you given the option to e-file your tax returns?

Were you told that your NY tax return is not allowed to be e-filed?

Perhaps a NY tax form is not yet available for efiling? Were you told a form number?
