I work only 5 days a month (per company policy) in MA, but then work the rest of the time from home in NH.  I am currently paying taxes as if I worked full-time in MA.  Is there a way that when  I file my taxes this year that I can get the state income tax back for the portion of time that I worked from home?  Thanks!

You need to file a Massachusetts nonresident return for any income you earned while working in Massachusetts.  You will receive a refund if the amount they withheld from your check is greater than the amount of actual tax you are responsible to pay to MA.

NH that doesn't have a personal income tax. However, individuals who are residents of New Hampshire for any part of the tax year must file if they received more than $2,400 of gross interest and/or dividend income for a single individual or $4,800 of such income for a married couple filing a joint New Hampshire return.

How do I file a nonresident state return?
