If you worked in Kansas and are not a resident of Kansas, you will need to file a Kansas non-resident tax return.  After you finish your federal return, click on "State Taxes" on the left hand side of your screen.  Then click on Your State Returns, and then Add another state.  It is best to complete your non-resident tax return first, before you prepare your resident tax return.  If you pay Kansas state tax as a non-resident your resident state tax return will have a credit for tax paid to another state.
