Question

Worked in TX for an internship (no state tax), but resident in CO. W2 Employer State ID is blank, but box 15 (CO),16,17 are filled out. How to continue past the error?

TurboTax is asking for this info to be filled out, and says I can't file electronically if it's blank.  What should I do; fill in the box with the federal EIN?

Exactly.  Enter the Federal EIN there and that should eliminate the error.
