Worked/lived in NY state(NYC) all 2018 moved to California in 1/2019 where do i file state taxes?

If your income for 2018 was only from NY then you will only file a NY tax return you will not have to file a California tax return for 2018 so long as you moved to CA on or after January 1, 2019.
