Working few months in another state

I worked last year few months of the year in another state  ,but in the same company where I worked in my state the company  cover all the expenses such as hotel, food and transportation.  Base all the information above, does  I need to  fill out taxes for that state and state of  my residency as well ? Pls advise

Your resident state taxes all income. You were a non-resident of the temporary work state. Each state has different laws. The fact that you worked in the state, may require you to file a return.  You can contact the Department of Revenue or reply with the state you temporarily worked in along with the state you live in. Sometimes there is a reciprocal agreement between states. Also, were any state taxes taken out for the  temporary state?
