Question

Can I change how turbotax seee my military service? It asks if my military pay was my only income in 2023. Since I'm a veteran, I don't get military pay.

I told TurboTax that I'm a veteran but it's asking me about my military pay. I don't receive military pay because I am a veteran. Then later, it says that I told them I'm in the military.

In the My Info section it asks if you were in the military.  That refers to tax year 2023.  If you are veteran and were not active military in 2023 then you need to change your answer to No.

 

Click on My Info on the left side of the online program screen.  Edit your personal information.
