If I understand your question correctly, there are two places where you indicate that you are active duty military: In the Personal Info or My Info section, and on the screen immediately after you enter your W-2.
In the Personal Info or My Info section, you check "yes" if you were in the military at any point in 2020. TurboTax will try to narrow down what part of the year.
And when you enter your W-2, you will want to check "active duty military pay" if the W-2 is for this. Don't check that W-2s that are not from the military.
