Georgia and Investment Gains/Dividends
My husband is active duty and stationed in Georgia, but Texas is his home of record. I am a Georgia resident. He earned no additional income while living in Georgia, except for small gains on dividends/brokerage accounts (all in his name; not jointly). Does he still need to file a non-resident form for these small investment gains? Georgia tax code mentions additional jobs, properties, etc, but couldn't find anything on this. Thanks!
