How do I add my military compensation into my return

it is compensation pay, not retirement pay. I have went through all forms twice and on the second time trying to prepare my tax return it gave me no option to include my veteran disability checks which resulted in my return being 300 less than what it should be

VA disability payments are not entered on a tax return.

 

If you received a W-2 then you enter the W-2 in the Wages & Income section.

Enter w-2 in the Search box located in the upper right of the program screen.  Click on Jump to w-2
