How do i file a state tax return for military with indiana as home of record?

I was informed that Indiana state income tax is exempt for Military, but it's still saying I owe state taxes.

    Did you have any income other than your active-duty military pay?  Only your active-duty military pay is tax-exempt in Indiana.

     

    If your only income was your military pay, then be sure you entered Indiana as your State of Residence in the My Info section of TT, and be sure you checked the boxes indicating that you were active duty military.
