Question

I am active duty military (since August 28, 2023) and my box 15 employers state ID Number is blank. Can I still submit my W-2 like this?

Seven states — AK, FL, NV, SD, TN, TX, and WY — levy absolutely no state income tax. NH has a tax on dividends and interest . WA started taxing Capital Gains in 2023. Leave boxes 15 thru 20 blank (empty) on the TurboTax W-2.

What if the system still doesn't let me continue to E file? My box 15 is in TX but it's still asking for an employer number

Are there any amounts in box 16 and 17?  If there isn't don't enter TX in box 15.
