Question
I am filing jointly, a nonresident of MD, active duty, my spouse is a civilian with income in MD. The form won't let us complete saying that I should uncheck Active Duty?
The section in question is Part VI - Military Income - Form 502. Line 1a. I am also unable to answer my spouse's option in line 2a. I am considered the taxpayer at the top of the form and my wife is the spouse. I have no income taxable in MD but my wife does.
