Question

I am filing my state taxes for Ohio and it is asking for Active Military Pay. What amount do I enter? What is that exactly?

Active Military Pay is the amount of Wages (box 1) on your W-2 that you received from your active duty service.

 

If you didn't have any active duty military pay, you should probably review your entries on your W-2 to make sure that you did not accidentally indicate that this W-2 was military pay.
