Question

I am military. I was given the option to select combat pay election or not to see how it would affect my EIC. By electing it, I get less. How do I delete the election?

When choosing NOT to elect for combat pay, my return showed in the green. By choosing TO elect, it puts me in the red. However, nothing I do ( deleting & rea-dding, exiting out, clear & starting over) allows me to NOT elect. Please advise?

You should have been able to back up a screen and take the other option.  

 

I suggest you go back and delete your W-2 then close the program and clear your cookies before logging back in.  Then re enter the W-2 and try the EIC section again.
