You might qualify for the Earned Income Credit if you meet all the requirements. Please review the requirements here: Earned Income Credit (EIC) qualification.

Please ensure that you selected “Yes” to the “Did you live in the U.S. for more than six months in 2019?” question since members of the military stationed outside the United States are considered to have their main home in the United States for tax purposes.

  1. Login to your TurboTax Account
  2. Click "Work on other tax breaks"
  3. Click "Federal" from the left side of your screen
  4. On the top click on “Deductions & Credits”
  5. Scroll down to “You and Your Family” and click “Show more
  6. Click on “Revisit” next to “Earned Income Credit (EIC)
  7. Continue until “Did you live in the U.S. for more than six months in 2019?
