I'm active duty military (FL - SLR), stationed in CA. Do I have to file a CA state tax return?
I also own rental property in NC. Do I have to file a NC state tax return there, as well?
Unless you have non-military income in California, there is no need to file a return for that state. However, you will need to file a North Carolina return to report your income from the rental property.
