I started a new job in Jan 2016 and did an electronic W4 and somehow was marked as exempt and I never would have done that on purpose I didn't notice until now after I w2

what do i need to do ?? Why I didn't notice is that I made more money at new job and worked a lot of overtime I just never noticed.

How unfortunate that you did not notice no tax being withheld on your pay all year.  But now you owe.  Change your W-4 for 2017!!  If the amount you owe is really bad, you can arrange a payment plan with the IRS.

There is nothing that can be done for 2016. You will just have to pay whatever tax is due plus any penalties and interest for underpayment. You can correct that for 2017 by submitting a new W-4 with your employer to have tax withheld.
