Question
In 2019, I was unemployed until Nov 2019 when I enlisted in the military. I had pay issues and didn't receive pay in 2019, pending issue. Do I still need to do taxes?
I wasn't collecting unemployment. I was just surviving off of my savings. With the pay issue, I am working with my unit to getting that resolve. I also haven't received a W-2 as I'm guessing whoever is in charge thinks I didn't get paid in 2019. Not sure how to proceed.
