Question

It asked me did i want to use my income from last year for a tax credit. Its now asking about a Non Taxable combat pay. How do I find that?

You can use your income from last year for the Earned Income Tax Credit if your income was higher in 2019 and the higher income results in a batter refund. You need to look at your 2019 1040 tax return for that information. 

 

If you used TurboTax last year, you would find a copy of your 2019 return in "Your Documents" under Tax Home on the left side bar of TurboTax.

 

The option for using Non Taxable combat pay is for Military Personal Taxpayers.
