She is in the reserves in the military and i recently got married and am not doing a joint taxes. however it listed it as saying shes not in the armed forces and doesn't give me an option to change it?

If you are not filing a joint return, it doesn't make any difference whether she is listed as in the military or not.

In fact, if you are filing as Single, her information would not be listed anywhere on your return. If you are filing as Married, Filing Separately, the interview should only ask for her name and SSN, not about her occupation and military status.
