Military- overseas- have an APO address. Typically, I select New York for state and annotate APO AE for city. Cant get past zip code state mismatch this time. Any tips?

To clarify, in the Personal Info section, on the "Your Info" screen I assume you select New York as your state of residence and "No" to having lived in any other state. You also indicate serving in the Military on that screen.

For the mailing address, since you selected APO and AE are you entering the proper 5-digit European zip code for that APO?

HI- I’m from Maine. It’s listed as my permanent residence. My dependent goes to an on post child care facility that’s an APO AE address. I’ve filed for several years using Turbo Tax but this year it’s not letting me get past the screen for the zip code.

*To note: Childcare address screen doesn’t have (Armed Forces- Europe) as part of the drop down options for state although many other screens do

Did you ever figure this out? We also have a APO AE on post childcare address and cannot figure out what state to put to match the zip code. Very frustrating.
