Multi state residency with Military

My son began the year in his home state of Pennsylvania as a medical student. He then moved to South Carolina on June 1after graduation and began active duty. He changed his residency to SC at that time. He later changed his home state of residency back to PA on November 1. Turbo Tax doesn't allow me to make the second residency change. How do I handle this?

Change your answers. It sounds like your son was a PA resident all year and worked in SC for a while as a non-resident.

Where you live is not your residency. Your HOR is where you enter the military and remains the same unless you change it, which is rare. Your residency is the place you call home. Where you intend to live when life settles down. You can work other places, you can travel the world, when all is done, where is the place you call home.
