Question

My husband was a veteran, I have never served in the military but the military status for myself doesn't give me a choice to say that, What do I mark?

Select "No" to the question "... is a member or former member of the U.S. Armed Forces (active, reserve or National Guard)."

 

To edit your military status, please follow these steps: 

  1. Login to your TurboTax Account 
  2. Click “My Info” tab in the black bar on the side of your screen.
  3. Click “Edit” next to your name.  
  4. Scroll down to the last question in Section 1: " is a member or former member of the U.S. Armed Forces (active, reserve or National Guard)”
  5. Mark the appropriate radio button and click “Continue”.
