Hello, I am in the military and moved over to Germany in July 2019.

I am trying to update my current address under account>personal info>address. However, it doesn't have an option to update an APO address. What do I need to do to update that?

I also have a German phone number, when I try to update the number while filing my taxes, it won't let me. How do I update that?

Also, I was stationed in Missouri prior to PCSing to Germany in 2019. When filing my taxes it asks me what states have I lived in all of 2019. I do have Missouri down, but do I need to put Germany? If so, how do I do that since it is not listed as a state?

Please follow the instructions below to enter your APO address:

Login to your TurboTax Account
Click "My Info" from the left side of your screen
Please scroll down to “Mailing address” and click "Edit"
Select "Military (APO, FPO or DPO)" as "Type of mailing address"

Unfortunately, you can't enter an international phone number in TurboTax. The IRS will not call an international phone number. You can enter the phone number of a relative or friend in the U.S, or a "dummy number" (800-555-1212). This will allow you to complete your return, and the IRS will identify your entry as a placeholder number - if they have questions, they will mail them to you.

You will select your home of record/state of legal residence for the question "Tell us the state(s) you lived in".
