Rental Property Income

My wife and I are currently stationed/living in Oregon. I am a Nebraska resident and my wife is an Oregon resident. My wife owns a rental property in Florida. Florida does not have state income tax, so we owe nothing to the state of Florida, but are we required to report my wife's rental income on her Oregon tax return since that is where she lived when "earning" the income from the Florida property?

Can you clarify.  You said you and your  wife are currently stationed/living in Oregon.  Is one, or both of you, military?

I am Active Duty Air Force with Nebraska as my home of residence. My wife is an Oregon resident. Only my wife's name is on the deed/title for the rental property in Florida.

Yes, rental income is taxed to your resident state. If she has chosen OR for her resident state, or where she is from, then that is where it is reported.

As a spouse, she could have been there just to be with you and actually be NE resident with you. MSRRA: Military Spouses Residency Relief Act .
