reservist pay taxable?

I was in the Marine Reserves all of 2020. The State of Illinois does not tax reservist's pay. Does the Federal government do so?

    Your regular reservist pay is included in your federal taxable income unless you were in a combat zone. If you were in a combat zone your W-2 will show the code Q- nontaxable combat pay in box 12.
