tax information and document request from California

I received that letter in the mail asking for certain documents. being in the military my home of record is California and my wife is Arizona so she doesn't pay ca taxes.  The letter is asking for all these documents and she isn't able to get a few pay stubs from the last job she had since she changed jobs. Would I still have to send in her stuff with mine even though she doesn't pay CA taxes and only I do? its asking for the documents if we filed jointly which we did

    Yes, if you filed joint you would be required to send the documents requested by the state.  In fact, even if you filed separate, you would still be required to send all the docs because Arizona is a community property state.
