I live in CT.

If the status has changed from "Under review" to "Your return has not yet been processed", it indicates they have completed the review and have sent your return to be processed. They haven't, however, completed the processing.

For a precise answer, you would have to contact the CT Department of Revenue Services for an explanation.

i have the same issue, also in CT, im hoping turbotax didnt have some sort of flaw that messed up refund amounts, according to the refund i am supposed to receive more than my federal, just seemed weird to me... has been 7 days since i filed, and i have already received my Federal.

This has been happening to me for 3 years now. Turbo tax say both federal & state were accepted by the irs but everytime i only recieve federal & when i go on all these websites to try & figure it out, i get no where. It just says something about it being modified but i never get any letters or anything telling me why or what is going on. It's very frustrating & even when you try to call, you get no where. If anyone gets any type of leads please let me know!!!

Unfortunately,  you would have to contact the Connecticut Department of Revenue Services for an explanation of why they are reviewing your return. They also won't show an amount for "refund" until they have completed the review.

State Departments of Revenue and Taxation (and the IRS) select returns for additional review using a number of criteria, one of which is completely at random. They often review e-filed returns if there are large refunds due because of W-2 withholding; employers are not required to send the state its copy of the Form W-2 until Jan 31, so the state doesn't have independent verification of the withholding you are reporting.

Contact CT DRS

Depending on the reason for the review and internal policies, they may not tell you why your state return was selected for review.
