Looks like we've run into an error.

TurboTax 2024 Premier worked fine five days ago. I tried to open today and the program will not open. Displays, "Looks like we've run into an error." I uninstalled and reinstalled the program. Nothing seems to work.

    Tri first starting in safe mode and activating it.  Then see if it works in regular mode.  That was my final try after trying everything I had read for weeks to get mine working.

     

    This finally worked for me.

    Sorry, I meant that I used safe mode with networking.

    How do you correct the error??

    I didn't correct the error, I closed it and just started safe mode with networking and launched TT.  It started up and activated.  I then restarted my computer and it started right up.

    Have you tried starting in safe mode as the other users here have suggested?
