Start with this Contact us page and you also have the opportunity to use TurboTax Live.  There is a fee you would have to approve, but this provides a live tax expert agent to help you review and complete your tax return. 

 

The tax advice and review can provide detailed information to ease your concerns.

I got an email that my state tax was rejected do to a software issue. I need help to correct and refile

If you received an ACTION NEEDED! email from turbotax@intuit.com, it'll give you a brief explanation of your reject and how to update it. You can also do this:

  1. Sign in to your TurboTax account and select Fix my return to see your reject code and explanation.
  2. Follow any “fix it” instructions to update the info causing the reject.
  3. Select File in the left-hand menu to refile your return, either e-file or file by mail.

It's easy to get help with TurboTax Live. As you prepare your taxes, you can quickly connect with one of our credentialed tax experts using one-way video or phone. Make sure you're in a TurboTax Live product. If you are, you'll see TurboTax Live mentioned in the left menu. (You may need to select the menu icon to see it.)

 

Once you've confirmed you're using TurboTax Live:

  1. Select the floating Live help button in the bottom right corner.
  2. Select Let's talk.
  3. Enter your question or topic area and Continue.
  4. Select your preferred method for connecting with a tax expert.

The process is a little different if you're using the TurboTax mobile app. We've got instructions for how to connect with a tax expert on the app.

Were they rejected? If so, review the information below.

This is a public Internet forum.  For your privacy/security, please do not post personal info in the public forum.    TurboTax Support will not contact you from the forum, but no telling who else could try to contact you to spam/scam you.   It looks like the forum privacy filter protected you by removing your information.
