Last year we did our taxes on my husband's computer and this year I did the income tax.  the IRS is not accepting 2020's line 11.  It is rejecting my e-file this year because of this.  HELP me e-file my  return for this year.

This is your turbotax that is creating my problem.  IRs IS NOT  accepting my -e-file returns this year because I am doing the filing with my husband this year.  you need to release my 2020 taxes to the IRS.  It was under my husband's name and ssn along with mine.

If the IRS is rejecting your 2021 tax return for the 2020 AGI it is more than likely the IRS does not have your 2020 AGI in their database.

Enter a 0 (zero) for the 2020 AGI and e-file the 2021 tax return again.

This is mainly a user community forum, so no one here will know anything specific about your return.  I'll tell you how you can get help from TurboTax below.

Did you get a letter from the IRS?  If so, it should have explained why they were reducing your refund and why you ended up owing taxes due.   The IRS may or may not be correct.

Or there can be a mistake on your return.  TurboTax relies on whatever entries you make during the return interview.    Some common reasons that IRS lowered refunds for some filers this year:   Did you happen to claim the Recovery Rebate Credit for any third stimulus credit (EIP3) when you had already received it previously?  Or advanced child tax credits that were already received?   Again, we won't know anything specific about your situation in this public forum.

You can phone the TurboTax free Audit Support Center for help with an IRS letter.  They can question you to see what might account for the difference between your TurboTax return and what the IRS is saying, and can tell you how to proceed.   If you disagree with the IRS letter, they can tell you what recourse you have.  The IRS letter may also state what recourse you may have.

To get the phone number for the free TurboTax Audit Support Center, go to the page at this link and click the blue "Get Help" button.  Then follow the prompts, and it will display the phone number.
