Overcharged for filing fees-I was way overcharged. Was supposed to be $39.99 and ended up being $114! I want reimbursed.

I was overcharged aswell! Was quoted $40.00 and just checked the amount refunded .. they charged $80.00 without my consent! 

They overcharged me by a few hundred! Were you able to contact turbo tax on the phone? Everytime it's a 45 minute wait!

I signed up for the $40 simple pkg and Turbo tax charged me $1210 on my credit card. I turned this into in but haven't heard anything. I'm not going to use them anymore as they are crooked!! S Schmoock

I was charged $220... I was on hold for 5 hours yesterday and turbotax support never answered. I'm on hold again today! I should have been charged 135 at most. I want a refund! I already owe federal and state a combined $1200 dollars and I can't afford to pay $220 to turbotax. I didn't sign up for self-employed or turbotax pro or anything like that and somehow I was charged $120 dollars instead of the $34.99 plus the 50 for the two states I worked. It would be great to get some help with this?

Over charged $288 and credit my account only $80 never requested any additional service only basic .

First customer service said once you paid by credit card it’s nothing we can do. The 2nd customer service he said oh no they charged you twice but I will credit you account $80.

My questions is how much $288.53 divided by 2? It’s $80 or $144?

either way I will  stop until a get full refund by legal way

I was overcharged as well, I was only expecting to pay $152-$170, I chose the self employed federal return for $84.99 , self employed state return for $36.99 and the audit defense bundle for $30.00. I ended paying turbo tax state online state CA tax year 2020 $50, turbo tax self employed tax year 2020 $170, and turbo tax live max with refund process svc tax year 2020 $60. I ended up paying $280, my return ended up being only $539. So after getting docked for services I never requested or for prices I never initially agreed upon, I got a DD of only $259. I've never had this problem with TurboTax before, and the one time I do came at the worst possible time. I'm not sure how such a big mix up can happen when it comes to this, but I'm hoping I can get it corrected tomorrow or this will be the last time I use turbo tax and will be sure to warn those I know that also use their services, so that they can avoid this inconvenience in years to come. 

I had something similar. I had to upgrade to file the single 1099 I received. And was charged $59 twice, for two different states, even though the change was only for one state.  

I was charged $183, and chose to have the fees deducted from my refund amount. I did not receive my refund amount and the $183 was deducted from my bank account anyway. I paid a total of $366. What happened to my refund? What is going on with Turbotax? I plan to file a complaint against them. Some fraudulent activities.
