I have been fighting this same issue since the begining of January. My email is the same on both sites and always has been. Same with my phone number. Turbo tax has provided no support what so ever to challenge the issue and ck has followed suite with TT. I have filed an received an advance for 5 years running with tt and suddenly now I cant be verified. This is bull **bleep**! And im sending out 2000 letters to the corporate offices of both TT AND CK today . one is bound to hit an office of someone who can help an cares about the customers enough to get on top of the disturbance before the 15th!! Wish me luck. An good luck to all ppl having issue. Ill update when it changes.

I have the same issue. I can't understand how I have been monitoring my scores for years via Credit Karma and now all of a sudden they can't verify my identity .

No glitch. Just a hiccup they refuse to correct an refuse to work out. It's bull **bleep** completely. File your taxes asap. It's ur best chance to get ur funds quickest. Good luck.

I am trying to do my sons taxes for him and he has been living in new mexico for 7 years. had this same problem last year. when i get ready to print his tax return it states that he owes 320.00 in NC State taxes even though he has not lived in nc for 7 years. is there something in turbo tax that i need to check to elimante this nc tax

You haven't made his exact situation clear.   You had to have entered something about NC in his tax forms.

There are situations where there may be both NM and NC tax returns....like perhaps:

....he owns rental property of some kind in NC that he earns income from??

...College student in NM, under age 24 and your dependent (and you live in NC....but 7 years later that's unlikely) ?

....He's a NM resident, but worked summer in NC?

....Military member stationed in NM, but whose HOR is NC?

Something is triggering it...either his state of legal residence, part-time job there, rental property there??  NC Withholding shown on some form you entered?

hi, I’m having the same issue and it won’t allow me to receive the advance as of now due to the error.  Has there been other reports ?  I’ve called credit Karma and everything is matching on their end.

Contact TurboTax support and speak directly with a TurboTax support agent concerning this situation.

I am still having this issue a year later? I have talked to both turbo tax and credit karma and neither one knows how to fix the problem?

Did you make sure your personal info on Credit Karma matches exactly to.Turbo Tax?

Yep everything matches, everything is the same for both. I even already have a Credit Karma money account open. I even sent in information to verify my personal information.... they still won't fix it and I still keep getting the same stupid error of "can't verify your personal information."

Having the same problem. My TT and CK account have always had the same email and I got the RA last year no problem. 

Even went as far as to change my email address to another account and still no dice. Tried chrome browser, and brave browser. Going to try on my PC one more time but I'm also getting the error that my forms aren't ready to file, that they won't be ready until 01/19... It is 01/19 and it is 12:30pm. So idk if that has something to do with it, but this is extremely annoying as I paid $150 cash to file

@HeyJessi If you are using the TurboTax online editions the online program will be updated on or before midnight today Pacific time.

Also, verify that you do not have any forms or schedules that are not yet finalized.  Click on Review on the left side of the online program screen to see if any are listed.

I’m having same issue! Tried to use all trouble shooting methods and none worked. Tried calling customer service for both CK an TT no real help from either. I’m just going to go to a different company because I need the advance.

i am currantly experiencing this issue and have tried the advice listed in this comment and it did not fix my problem can anyone pls help!!!!!!! ive been at this for hrs and not even turbo tax can help me. ive called 3 times

I have finally gone over to H&R Block and you can get a refund advance for the same price (for having to file online/tax specialists) just by having them doing it by phone/office/video. I have had enough of Turbo and Credit Karma. I went over to H&R for the same price to file and to get a refund advance.

Obviously credit karma doesn't want to fix their problem so might as well go to someone who knows what they are doing.

Yes they couldn't resolve so I filed with H&R with no issues.  And closed my credit Karma account.
